The Vigilant Hose Company offers three types of membership:

ACTIVE Membership is for members over 18 years old and allows them to hold office, run fire calls, vote on policy and elect leadership. Active members can participate in BINGO and other fundraising activities as well as training and run emergency calls.

HONORARY Membership is a social membership. Honorary members can run calls and attend training. They are also encouraged to work fundraisers and can help the department in many other ways.

JUNIOR Membership is for active members age 14 to 17 years old.  Junior members can work BINGO and other fundraisers and required to participate in training and run emergency calls as their training progresses.

LIFE Membership is earned by active members with 20 years of continuous active service or who have reached  40 years of age and have 15 years of active service.
